Singapore Open 2022 Final Results: Indonesia Wins 3 Titles –

Badminton News : The Indonesian badminton squad has successfully won three titles from the Singapore Open World Tour Super 500 badminton tournament which ended on Sunday (17/7) night at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The first Red and White title was presented by the pair Apriyani Rahayu / Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti. Although against fifth seed from China, Zhang Shu Xian/Zheng Yu, they can win 21-14 and 21-17. This is Apriyani/Fadia’s second World Tour title after the Malaysia Open last month.

In the men’s doubles party, the Pelatnas derby was won by a young couple, Leo Rolly Carnando / Daniel Marthin who were able to beat their seniors, Fajar Alfian / Muhammad Rian Ardianto who were the fourth seeds with rubber games 9-21, 21-14 and 21-16.

While the third title was presented by the world’s 6th ranked men’s singles player, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, who managed to beat a young rising player from Japan, Kodai Naraoka in straight games 23-21, 21-17. This title is Anthony Ginting’s first title since winning the Indonesia Masters 2020.

In the women’s singles sector, former world champion from India, Pusarla Venkata Shindu successfully won the Singapore Open 2022 after defeating the 2022 Asian champion from China, Wang Zhi Yi with rubber games 21-9, 11-21 and 21-15.

While in the mixed doubles sector, world champions from Thailand, Dechapol Puavaranukroh / Sapsiree Taerattanachai successfully won their second title this season by defeating the Tokyo 2020 Olympic gold medalists from China, Wang Yi Lyu / Huang Dong Ping 21-12, 21-17.
