Ligaosport.com –

Transfer News: Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski claims he is happy at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona and has no plans to leave this summer.

The Poland international has not performed so well this season, but has still managed to score six goals in 35 Serie A appearances as he returned the Partenopei to the Champions League after two years out.

There have been rumors that Zielinski could leave in the summer transfer window, especially as Maurizio Sarri reportedly wants him at Lazio. However, he stressed that he had no plans to leave anytime soon.

“I don’t know where this rumor came from, I don’t think my trip to Napoli will end this summer,” Piotr Zielinski told the media on the sidelines of his activities with the Polish national team.

“I have an important contract with the club, which is valid for two more years. I feel fine here, although I read different things elsewhere.

“I never said I wanted to leave. It’s true that I struggled in the second half of the season, but I’m not leaving just because of that. I want to continue here because it’s a great club.”

Sarri is someone who has always been with him since at Empoli, until Zielinski was brought by the coach to Naples when he took office in 2015.
