Muriqi ready to return to Lazio after Mallorca failed to make a convincing offer –

Transfer News: Kosovo international striker Vedat Muriqi is reportedly set to join the Lazio squad for a pre-season training program after RCD Mallorca failed to make a convincing offer to the Italian capital club.

Vedat Muriqi is reportedly ready to return to Lazio this summer after RCD Mallorca were unable to make a convincing offer to make his transfer permanent this summer. The 28-year-old Kosovo striker joined the Spanish club last January on loan and quickly settled in very well, scoring four goals and providing three assists in 15 La Liga appearances.

Muriqi’s hard work was one of the important factors in helping Mallorca avoid relegation and things are looking to go well for the former Fenerbahce striker. According to news reported by Il Tempo, Mallorca’s highest bid for Muriqi of 8 million euros is still far from Igli Tare’s asking price of 11 million euros.

As a result, the Italian capital club will have to keep the Kosovo striker for much longer if they are to take advantage of the tax benefits of implementing the Growth Decree Law.

If you want to make that profit, the striker cannot be sold before 24 months and if he is sold before then The Aquile must return the tax deposited on the 28-year-old. If he is sold abroad, the club from Rome will have to pay 3.5 million euros.

Apart from Mallorca, the Kosovo striker has also been linked with a transfer to Turkish club Galatasaray although it is still unclear whether he is willing to join them as he has previously played for their rivals Fenerbahce.

And most likely now the 28-year-old striker will return to Rome from early July to follow the pre-season training carried out by The Aquile at Auronzo di Cadore. Surviving until January is a serious possibility.
