Transfer News: Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting director has confirmed AC Milan’s interest in defender Evan Ndicka, but reveals no offers have been made.
Sky Italia has revealed that the Rossoneri management are considering Japhet Tanganga from Tottenham Hotspur as an option to strengthen Stefano Pioli’s defense following the departure of Alessio Romagnoli on a free transfer to Lazio. However, Ndicka’s name re-emerged as an attractive option after the Serie A giants had wanted to sign him in the last two transfer windows.
Markus Krosche as sporting director of Eintracht Frankfurt has spoken to Kicker about the rumors regarding the Frenchman and his possible transfer to the San Siro, with his comments quoted by MilanNews as below.
“We know about Milan’s interest. So far there has been no offer,” said Krosche.
The German sports newspaper then added that it remains to be seen whether the Rossoneri are serious about his services and whether the Bundesliga club would be willing to let the 22-year-old defender go.
Despite all these rumors, Ndicka is clearly not the only target for Milan to fill their center back position in the transfer market this summer. The reason is, after losing the opportunity to land Sven Botman from Lille, management began to look at other, more affordable alternatives. Currently, the Eintracht Frankfurt star is indeed the club’s first choice along with Tanganga from Spurs.
