Crystal Palace Officially Signs Malcolm Ebiowei, Gives Five-Year Contract –

Premier League News: Crystal Palace have agreed a deal with teenager Malcolm Ebiowei, the 18-year-old winger will join Patrick Vieira’s squad from July 1, when his current contract with Derby expires, giving him a five-year contract.

Ebiowei joined Derby in 2021 and earned his place in the first team as an 18-year-old, making his debut in February 2022 as a substitute, replacing fellow Crystal Palace player Luke Plange.

He scored his first professional goal in April and made 16 appearances in the Championship in the 21/22 season, attracting attention for his attacking prowess.

His senior debut came as a reward for his impressive performances at Under-18 level, scoring 10 goals in nine games in all competitions, including hat-tricks against Leeds United and Chelsea.

He started his youth career at Arsenal before taking on Scottish football with Rangers.

Ebiowei would like to express his gratitude to Derby County and its supporters, saying: “I want to thank everyone at Derby County for their incredible support over the past year, and for giving me the opportunity to show what I can do. on the pitch, and I also want to thank the fans for their encouragement especially given the circumstances last season.
