Bagnaia reveals the key if you want to win the world title –

MotoGP News: Ducati factory racer Francesco Bagnaia’s opportunity to become world champion this season has not been closed. According to him, consistency is the key to winning the world title.

Francesco Bagnaia has won four of the last six races in 2021. The 25-year-old Italian is proving to be the strongest opponent of Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), especially in the second half of the season with the Ducati GP21.

Prior to the 2022 MotoGP season, the Italian racer was considered the favorite of many to win the race.

Bagnaia has won three of the eleven races so far. Unfortunately, the racer who is familiarly called Pecco also failed to win points four times. This leaves the difference between him and current MotoGP champion Quartararo at the top of the standings by 66 points.

“Honestly, we’re racing for a title, aren’t we? Winning races is great, but when you make mistakes like I did, it hurts more than the joy you feel after winning.”

“If you want titles, it’s important to perform consistently. I think as drivers we all know how to deal with pressure.”

Then, Bagnaia was asked if you fall, you need to try to build your confidence again. How did you do that?

“Usually I know my possibilities. I know that I can be in front in all the races. We show every time that we have speed.”

“If I fall or if we have a problem, I know that we can be fast again in the next race. It gives me peace of mind. If something goes wrong, crashes or a problem occurs, it’s very important to understand why something like this happened. I am constantly concerned about these thoughts.”
