Italian League News: There is news from Italy that Nicolo Zaniolo may be out for the next month after suffering a dislocated shoulder when AS Roma beat Cremonese 1-0 last Monday (22/8).
I Giallorossi managed to get their second win in Serie A this season, again with a 1-0 score like last week against Salernitana, thanks to Chris Smalling’s goal.
But unfortunately, bad luck befell Nicolo Zaniolo who had been withdrawn before half-time due to a shoulder problem.
The 23-year-old Italy striker quickly received the help of medical staff and received treatment after the incident on the pitch. But he was able to continue the match and was replaced by Stephan El Shaarawy.
According to the claims of Sky Sport ItalyZaniolo was immediately taken to the Villa Stuart Clinic in Rome for tests and an x-ray examination.
The bad news is that he has dislocated his left shoulder and is expected to take three or four weeks to recover.
However, the good news is that Zaniolo may have avoided a broken shoulder or collarbone. He also did not need surgery to reduce his dislocation.
The attacking midfielder is considered to be Italy’s future big star, but has struggled with fitness issues throughout his career.
At just 23 years old, Zaniolo has suffered an anterior knee ligament injury on two occasions. The first was in January 2020, and the second was in September of the same year.
